Around ten years ago, I discovered the joy of thrifting, partly because it’s economical, but also because I absolutely love the unique pieces I find in a vintage, thrift, or consignment shops. This blog seeks to inspire others to take up what I call R & R-Reusing and Reclaiming. In doing so, you will give new life not just to clothing, furniture or household goods-which will all be featured on this blog-but also to our living planet by conserving resources and removing items from landfills. That doesn’t mean brand new is out of the question for my lifestyle, it just means that I supplement my decor and wardrobe with secondhand, unique finds as I discover them. Who knows, you may just find that one person’s “trash” becomes your much sought after treasure.
